It's ok, I'm just glad to hear that you're feeling better. I was worried when I didn't see you go up for anthem. The concert went very well.. we sounded much better than I expected. We had just the right amount of anxiety to keep us on our toes. There were a few spots where the clarinets got a little too excited, but otherwise, it went quite smoothly. We played a few contemporary Christian pieces (Let Us Praise the Almighty - opening, Cornerstone, To God Be the Glory, We Are an Offering, and Crown Him with Many Crowns), Winston sang Pillar of Fire while we played in the background, and there were 2 medleys (Wizard of Oz - my favorite, and TV Time - medley of TV theme songs, like I Love Lucy, Brady Bunch, Happy Days, etc), and the last piece was a classical piece (Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik). The songs are not all in that order though.. it was nicely spaced out.
Soooo.. it was a nice weekend. But I had to come back to school.. and I was hoping it won't be so bad. Well. We had our first day of O-chem lab this afternoon and it was so hot and stuffy in that lab. Have an idea what came next? Yeaaa. Dizziness hit me and I didn't make it out the door before I fainted. Luckily (as I found out later), someone caught me before I hit the floor. I guess it wasn't completely embarrassing, but still awkward. They put me on a couch outside the lab and I sat for awhile and a junior working at the supply room brought me some water and kept me company. Went back to lab after maybe 15 minutes and fortunately, I was able to finish the lab before it ended and actually wasn't the last person there. Sigh.. I hope O-chem lab's not going to be miserable this semester.. it doesn't help that I don't really know people in my lab very well. Bah. Pray that I won't faint again, especially not in a room as dangerous as the O-chem lab. Eeek.
Umm, is it Friday yet? :(
